Okay, so I’m finally Blogging. lets see recent events start about a week ago. My phone finally crapped out on me so I had to get a new one. Under preassure to modernize my communications technology I purchased a blackberry. Im getting used to it although it screams big brother. In other news last wendesday was my first leading worship and I truly believe we have alot to look forward to. Fast forward lets talk about today. Tara and I went to lunch at Chili’s in sharyland. Tara goes to the loo while I get us a seat. five minutes later our server shows up to take our drink order. About ten minutes after that our drinks show up. Whatever. we order and our server once again dissapears for about 25-30 minutes! Im serious she wasn’t even in the dinning room we couldn’t find her! I needed a refill and she was nowhere to be found. finally she shows up and I get my drink. We finish and I’d like one more refill before I go, and ofcourse shes dissapeared again. I’m ready to talk to a manager. and she shows up because she got sat. I take the oppertunity to ask for a refill. About five minutes later she shows up with two drinks and says “I brought you two cause I can’t keep up with you”…….. I sat there befuddled, Staring at Tara completley unsure of how to react. I went ahead and tipped her 10% and wrote a note on the bill that said.. “You need to visit your tables more often. and if your in the weeds ask for help.” crazy huh.
Yeah, kind of sounds like the service at IHOP last night! Geez!
Actually, it sounds worse. Nice move, though, leaving a note. Class-y.
